I have a 3.8 v6 turbo in a 78 buick and need to fix the Carburetor should I get a new one or have it rebuilt? - turbo buick

I think I need to change carburetor engine Powere loose 10 to 25 mph seems to start well and then drown, but works very well on the road or just Cruzing to 25 mph range, gives me problems. Can anyone help?

You can rebuild it, but I found that in the age of a car, there are still plenty of room in the throttle and the Assemblies of gas. When you rebuild, you should consider replacing the throttle body. On the other hand, can be cheaper to buy a rebuilt one from a local parts house.

If everything is original, I personally reconstruction of carbohydrates. Have you checked if there are any vacuum leaks? If this is happeneing only a certain speed, it is possible that theres a leak somewhere.

Could the choke pull-off, if you think you will be able to rebuild it, go ahead, after receiving the gunk carb cleaner, Rebuild Kit, suitable tools, etc.. It is cheaper to buy a paddle.
